Somewhere in the recesses of some inlet in this bay I came across three largely inebriated, typically
Australian men, all most unusual in their own way. One of them, holding already the world speed record
for water craft (the boat, which he built himself, is on display at Sydney's Maritime Museum), would
shortly be making an attempt at the land speed record as well. Not being one to pay attention to such
things, I never heard whether he succeeded.
