Hey gang,

Well, four years to the day after leaving Microsoft (April Fool's Day, no less) I'll be embarking on another journey: China...by bike. Not sure what I'm getting myself into...but looking forward to it nonetheless.

The distribution list for this little exercise has gotten H U G E and is now a real pain to keep maintained so we're going to try something new: a listserver. For the internet-challenged among you, a listserver's just a fancy way of automatically handling large distribution lists and posting messages as if to a bulletin board. This may change the way the Travelogue happens, since it allows much more interactivity--which I'm looking forward to. You'll all catch on quick enough.

Rather than just assume you're all interested in reading my rambles, I'll just describe what to do if you want to receive my scribbles from abroad:

Use the Contact Form and request to be added to the Travelogue list. Don't forget to include your email address!
