The load changed over the six thousand kilometer journey. Didn't start off with the handlebar basket--that
was a gift from Jay when he flew home from Beijing. The red flag on the handlebars was a gift from
my audience with the Gong Tang Lama, in Xiahe. Not much of an audience, really. About 3 seconds in
a queue. I stumbled at his feet.
