Shamrock, Texas is a typical small Route 66 community. Plenty of examples of boom-time architecture,
and few of them occupied. This was a gas-bar and parts shop. The next images in the series show a
few more examples of buildings lying abandoned, and some in which the locals feverishly attempt to breathe
life.
